Welcome to Steam Town Brew Co!

open 11am - 11pm, seven days a week

Since getting the keys to No.1 Bishopstoke Road in July we've been busy building, renovating and decorating from cellar to roof, creating a truly unique new setting that's inspired by the rich industrial heritage we have here in Eastleigh. We’re creating a warm and fun atmosphere in which to savour our fascinating range of craft drinks and enjoy the delicious food from our grill. You can even come and take look round the shiny in-house brewery!

We’re passionate about supporting our local community and setting up Steam Town has been a fantastic opportunity to work with a whole load of talented local people and businesses. From galvanizers, fabricators and stonemasons to illustrators, food producers and upholsterers we’ve been amazed by the capability and professionalism right here on our doorstep.

The rustic and industrial bar area, will offer tables, perching shelves and a selection of seating. Pick out the fittings and features acquired and loaned which give a nod to the local history. The light fittings behind and in the public bar area once illuminated the work of Eastleigh's Railway Works and the Iron bar front once was a side of an old 'Seacow' rail carriage!

Whether it's beer, gin or some other tipple that keeps you refreshed, you'll be able to enjoy some of the best of British on our bar. Up to twenty four draught beers across 16 keg taps and eight handpulls will be drawn from our chilled cellar and many more different and rare beers will be available in the can and bottle fridges.

You’ll also be able to relax in our diner, enjoying our full menu produced with some of the best seasonal and local produce around. Our kitchen and waiting staff will be waiting to serve you in our refurbed First Class seating area. The fantastic team at LJ Smiths Butcher's (Bishopstoke) will be supplying us with their Juicy beef patties and our Brioche Rolls from Matt's Bakery in Boyatt Wood. These will form the basis of our US style ‘dirty’ burgers and Fries menu.

And to top it all we’re looking forward to pushing the boundaries of modern craft beer production through our new six barrel Brewhouse. Our first beers wont be ready until the new year and we'll start by focusing on two cask beers: A British malt / hop session bitter and a US dry hopped session IPA. We'll then expand the range with various styles and packaging types, so keep an eye on developments!

So if you're looking to organise a social or just a meet up with friends then we'd love to hear from you, get in touch via phone, email or message us and we'll be happy to help.

We all look forward to welcoming you down at Steam Town soon!

David.
